Tony

When I was a kid, I discovered Pokémon. The designs and concept were so cool to me. I even played the games and enjoyed strategizing attacks. In Middle School, I found myself gravitating toward watching all sorts of anime. Sometime after 2020 I knew I wanted a passion-driven business that centered around anime. Kenny and I played with ideas until we landed on what KOJA is today.

Apart from anime, I really enjoy real time strategy games like Europa Universalis IV and anything Nintendo like Pokémon and Super Mario Bros. I'm also a total nerd, who enjoys tech and anything computer science.

I do most of the packing at KOJA and I handle email interactions more, while Kenny tackles Instagram messages.

I got into anime very young thanks to the influence of my older sister. Surprisingly it was never just a phase. Now somehow, someway, I found myself partaking in what you all know to be KOJA Anime.

Enough about that! Outside of KOJA, I love to write, read, draw, and game. The current game I’m playing is Batman: Arkham Asylum for the Nintendo Switch. Now when I’m not working on KOJA or stuffed into my hobbies, my fluffy cat hogs up my time (she’s very distracting).

Any who, I’m more often than not the person you will chat with when you need a customer rep. via Instagram, so, I hope to be of service to you all!

KOJA Trivia

  • Kenny came up with the name "KOJA Anime" years prior when the idea for KOJA was to for it to be an anime sticker shop.
  • At one point "KOJA Anime" was going to be an anime fanpage on Instagram after we dumped the sticker idea.
  • Kenny and Tony were eating too much ramen when they decided on a ramen bowl for the logo.
